Well, the most obvious thing is to be covered if your phone is stolen.  Mobile phone theft is certainly a big problem and is on the increase - if only because there are more and more phones around.  Aproximately 1.2 million phones are stolen every year.

But equally big problems are phone loss and phone damage.  They are not so glamorous as THEFT in the newspapers, but they are bigger problems for you and for me.

1.6 million phones are lost every year and 1.3 million phones are damaged every year.  So if you are not covered for loss and damage you are majorly missing out.

Make sure that the mobile phone insurance policy you go for has all this and more.
